I’m kicking off a multi-phase software development initiative and want to build a small, reliable team of developers who are physically based in the United States for easier collaboration during standard US work hours. The work spans backend services, RESTful APIs, and a lightweight front-end console. We’ll be working primarily with Node.js, Python, PostgreSQL, and AWS, managing progress through Git, Jira, and a CI/CD pipeline.
You don’t need to be fluent in every tool, but you should own at least one of those layers, write clean, well-documented code, and feel comfortable participating in code reviews and daily stand-ups.
Deliverables will arrive as individual Jira tickets and will be considered complete when:
• the code compiles without errors,
• unit tests (written by you) pass in the CI pipeline, and
• a short markdown file explains key decisions.
If you can commit 20–30 hours a week for the next six months or more, tell me:
• which stack component you’re strongest in,
• two examples (GitHub or similar) that showcase code you personally wrote, and
• your typical weekly availability.
I look forward to building something great together.
