US Civil Engineer: Road & Drainage

I need an experienced U.S.–based civil engineer to take full ownership of the road, drainage, and utility design for a new project. Your task is to prepare complete, permit-ready plans that cover road layout and grading, a compliant stormwater drainage network, and the water, sewer, and other utility lines that will serve the site.

I will supply a topographic survey, preliminary site layout, and any local ordinances already on file. From there, I expect you to determine design criteria, run all necessary calculations, and produce drawings that meet current U.S. codes and standards (AASHTO, local DOT, EPA, etc.) as well as any municipal requirements we identify together.

Deliverables
• Road alignment, profiles, and grading plan
• Stormwater drainage plan with supporting hydrology/hydraulic calculations
• Water, sewer, and other utility plans with applicable sizing calculations
• CAD (DWG) and print-ready PDF plan set, plus an editable stormwater report

Acceptance Criteria
• Plans are internally consistent, follow referenced standards, and are ready for submittal without additional drafting.
• All calculations are provided in an organized worksheet or report that can be reviewed by the permitting authority.
• File formats open cleanly in AutoCAD Civil 3D 2020 (or newer) and PDFs print to scale.
