We are seeking a U.S.-based CAD professional to receive physical samples, take accurate measurements, and prepare manufacturing drawings for slip-on adapters.

We will provide detached firearm barrels as measurement references and a few existing 2D adapter drawings as templates. Only detached barrels will be supplied—not complete firearms, frames, or receivers. The drawings are for the adapters, not for manufacturing barrels.

Scope:

* Receive, safely handle, and return supplied samples.
* Measure and document relevant exterior geometry.
* Prepare adapter designs and drawings using our reference drawings and project requirements.
* Identify missing information or inconsistencies before proceeding.
* Deliver fully editable native CAD files with sketches, features, and design history retained—not just exported STEP files.
* Provide fully dimensioned PDF/DWG manufacturing drawings with appropriate GD&T.

Requirements:

* Located in the United States and able to receive and return samples domestically.
* Hands-on precision-measurement experience and appropriate equipment.
* Experience with CNC-machined components, fits, tolerances, and GD&T.
* Fusion 360 preferred; please identify your primary CAD software and native file format.
* Willing to sign our NDA before receiving project materials.

We anticipate starting with a small paid assignment, with potential for ongoing work. Fixed pricing per component or batch is preferred, with scope and deliverables agreed before starting.
