Urgent VBS Server Access Recovery

My Windows-based application is down because the previous freelancer never shared the administrator password for the server that runs the core VBS script. I still have the original source files and a folder of partial documentation he left behind, but I can’t log in through Remote Desktop and the service is currently offline. The physical server is sitting in front of me, so local keyboard-and-monitor work or an offline boot tool is possible—whatever gets me back inside fastest.
I need an experienced Windows sysadmin who is comfortable with password recovery, registry or SAM hive manipulation, and troubleshooting legacy VBS code. Your primary objective is to regain full administrator access, verify the existing script or rebuild it from my source files if pieces are missing, and restore the application to a running state.
Deliverables
• Recover (or reset) administrator credentials and provide them to me.
• Audit the VBS implementation against my source to confirm nothing critical is lost.
• Bring the application back online and demonstrate that scheduled tasks or services linked to the script are working.
• Document the steps you took and any new passwords so I’m never locked out again.
Speed is critical—I’m ready to connect over Zoom or share screenshots the moment you respond.
