I need a knowledgeable network professional who can jump in right away and look after the day-to-day health of our infrastructure on a part-time basis. The focus is squarely on Network Management, so you’ll be monitoring performance, troubleshooting outages, applying firmware updates, and tightening security where needed.

Because I’m looking for fast results, the first priority is to stabilise the current setup and document any immediate fixes. After that, I want proactive maintenance: routine checks, clear change logs, and concise weekly status notes so nothing slips through the cracks.

Deliverables
• Initial network health report with identified risks and quick wins
• Implementation of agreed remedial actions (config tweaks, patching, access-list updates, etc.)
• Simple runbook outlining recurring maintenance tasks and escalation steps

Acceptance criteria
• No unresolved critical alerts for 7 consecutive days
• Latency and uptime metrics meet or beat baseline targets we agree on at kickoff
• All configuration changes clearly documented in the runbook

If you’re comfortable working with common enterprise gear (Cisco, Ubiquiti, MikroTik—or let me know what you’re best with) and can start ASAP, I’d love to hear how quickly you can hit the ground running and what tools you rely on for monitoring and backup.
