I already have a working food-ordering app built with Swift (UIKit/SwiftUI mix) that runs only in English. I now need it to become fully bilingual, allowing users to switch between English and Urdu at any time.
Scope of work
• Translate the entire app—every menu title, button label, form placeholder, alert, push-notification string, and onboarding screen—into Urdu. No regional or dialect nuances are required; standard, widely understood Urdu is sufficient.
• Implement right-to-left layout so that all screens, collection views, table views, and navigation flows mirror correctly when Urdu is active.
• Preserve the current visual design and existing business logic; this task is strictly about localization and RTL support.
• Provide in-device testing across the main iPhone breakpoints (SE, 8, 11-Pro, 14-Plus, etc.) to confirm there are no clipping, alignment, or layout regressions in either language.
Technical notes
The project uses storyboard-based views for most flows, with some SwiftUI components in the checkout module. Please rely on Apple’s standard localization workflow (Base Internationalization, Localizable.strings, .stringsdict, asset variants) and Auto Layout/SwiftUI mirrored stacks for RTL handling. Third-party dependency updates are not needed.
Deliverables
1. Updated Xcode project with English ↔ Urdu language toggle
2. Complete Urdu .strings and .stringsdict files
3. Verified RTL layouts across all screens
4. A brief test report (screenshots or screen-recordings) demonstrating flawless operation on the specified devices
I will provide the current Git repository and TestFlight build on acceptance.
My budget is fixed (3000 INR)
