I need a full-scale roadmap that addresses our city’s infrastructure development needs. The work revolves around assessing current assets, spotting short-, mid-, and long-term gaps, then outlining practical, data-driven projects that will bring the network up to modern standards while accommodating future growth.
Scope of work
• Conduct a baseline study of existing roads, utilities, and public facilities, drawing on traffic counts, utility capacity data, and demographic projections.
• Prioritise interventions using objective criteria: urgency, cost-benefit, environmental impact, and alignment with local policy.
• Produce concept designs and high-level cost estimates for each proposed project, supported by GIS maps and phasing schedules.
• Include risk analysis, funding strategy options, and measurable performance indicators so decision-makers can track progress post-implementation.
Deliverables
1. Comprehensive written report (PDF & editable Word) summarising research, analysis, and recommendations.
2. GIS shapefiles and layered maps marking proposed upgrades and new assets.
3. Five-year and ten-year implementation plans with clear milestones.
4. Presentation deck (PowerPoint) distilling key findings for stakeholders.
Acceptance criteria
• Recommendations must be evidence-based and reference all data sources.
• Cost estimates broken down by labour, materials, contingencies, and permitting.
• Maps must be georeferenced and compatible with QGIS and ArcGIS.
• All content delivered in English and formatted for A4 printing.
Preferred tools include AutoCAD, Civil 3D, QGIS/ArcGIS, and Microsoft Project, but I’m open to equivalent industry-standard software if you justify the choice.
Once the final package meets these criteria, I’ll sign off immediately so you can receive prompt payment and testimonials. I’m ready to move quickly and will be available for clarifications throughout the engagement.
