Freelance Video Editor — Project Brief
"UP: नंबरों की जंग" — 30-Day Instagram Reels Series
1. Project Overview
• Format: Daily Instagram Reels, cross-posted to YouTube Shorts, for 30 consecutive days (plus a Day 0 launch episode).
• Concept: A comedic, data-backed comparison of Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath and Samajwadi Party chief Akhilesh Yadav's track records across 30 governance sectors (education, unemployment, GDP, farming, etc.). Each episode names a sourced ‘round winner’; Day 30 delivers the final verdict.
• Tone: Funny, fast-paced, curiosity-driven — think sports-commentary energy, not a lecture.
• Presenter: Client appears on-camera in every episode. Hindi-priority Hinglish delivery.
• Core promise to viewers: “Poll se nahi, proof se” — conclusions based on documented work, not rumours or opinion polls.
• IMPORTANT — no real likenesses: the two leaders are represented on screen only via party symbols (lotus / cycle), never real photos, deepfakes, or voice mimicry. Keep every episode this way.
2. The Reusable Episode Template
Every episode (Day 1–30) follows the same skeleton so viewers recognise the format instantly. Build this once as a single template project file (Premiere Pro / CapCut / After Effects) with swappable placeholder layers — each day's edit should then be a fast swap-and-export job, not a rebuild.

3. Day 0 — Launch Episode (full brief)
3.1 Animation (0:00–0:06)
Two flat-vector symbols (lotus, cycle) fly in from opposite screen edges and collide centre-frame. Camera-shake on impact, white flash + radial speed-lines (2–3 frames), settle into title card: “UP: नंबरों की जंग” in bold Devanagari, condensed font.
SFX — whoosh (in) → hard impact hit → low sub-bass boom on the flash.
3.2 Full Script (Hindi, deliver exactly as written for subtitle sync)
Namaste UP!
Chunav aane wale hain... aur aap abhi bhi confused hain kise vote dein?
Har WhatsApp group mein, har channel par bas ek cheez chal rahi hai — raay, raay, aur sirf raay.
Koi kehta hai Yogi ji ne bahut kaam kiya. Koi kehta hai Akhilesh ji ke time mein behtar tha.
Asli sawaal ye hai — zameen par kaam kisne kiya?
Toh aaj se hum shuru kar rahe hain ek 30-day series — jahaan hum Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath aur Akhilesh Yadav ke kaam-kaaj ko, 30 sabse zaroori sectors par, aamne-saamne rakhenge. Education se lekar GDP tak, berozgari se lekar kisano tak.
Har episode mein — sirf data, sirf numbers, koi bhashan nahi. Sources ke saath, taaki aap khud check kar sako.
Aur har episode ke aakhir mein, hum batayenge ki us din ke topic par score kis ke paksh mein gaya.
Phir 30ve din... final winner.
Toh ye tay karne ka time hai — poll se nahi, proof se.
Kal se shuru. Pehla episode: Education.
Follow zaroor karna, kyunki agle 30 din, har din ek naya sach saamne aayega.
Target runtime: 40–45 seconds total for the talking segment. Keep delivery punchy — slightly sarcastic on the ‘poll confusion’ line, sincere on ‘poll se nahi, proof se’.
3.3 On-screen text pack
Big bold keyword pop-ins timed to the voiceover, roughly one every 2–3 seconds:
• “raay” — shake effect, red
• “number” — stamp-in, green
• “30 din” — counter-style reveal
• “Final winner” — gold shimmer
• Persistent small badge, bottom corner: “Day 0/30” — reuse this exact badge design in every future episode.
3.4 Presenter shot
• Vertical 9:16, chest-up framing, direct eye contact with lens.
• Simple, high-contrast background (plain wall or subtly branded backdrop).
• Front/slightly-above soft light, no harsh shadows.
3.5 Subtitles
• Bold sans font (e.g. Poppins / Mukta), white text with black stroke for contrast on any background.
• Must be tightly synced to speech — no lag.
3.6 Music & SFX
• Low tension/percussion loop under the talking segment — build energy, stay under the voice.
• Short “ding/pop” SFX on every text pop-in.
• Sting/riser just before “Final winner”, then a half-second of silence — dramatic beat.
3.7 Citation template (set up now, reuse from Day 1)
Day 0 has no data claims, so no citation appears yet — but build the template now: a lower-third card with source logo/name + headline text only (never a full article screenshot). On screen 2–3 seconds, large enough to pause-and-read.
3.8 End card
• Last 2 seconds: “Kal Episode 1 – Education” + follow-arrow animation pointing to profile.
• On-screen prompt: “Comment pro — apko kya lgta ha , kon jeetega education Mei”
3.9 Thumbnail / cover frame
Freeze on the clash-impact flash frame with the title text overlaid. This exact frame style becomes the cover template for all 30 episodes, so the profile grid reads as one series.
