University Digital Campus Platform Build

I’m ready to commission a full-stack solution that turns our current paper-heavy student office into a streamlined digital campus. The first release must focus on student enrolment and records management and be robust enough to let us expand later into timetabling or forum modules if we choose.

What the initial build must do
• Transcripts & grade tracking – students and authorised staff should see up-to-the-minute results, GPA calculations, and printable official transcripts.
• ID card generation – on-demand cards with photos, barcodes/QR and expiry dates, exportable to standard badge printers.

Access control
Both students and staff will log in to view or update the records appropriate to their role. Please include role-based permissions, single sign-on compatibility (OAuth or SAML), and audit trails for every data change.

Technical expectations
– Web-first interface, mobile-responsive.
– Scalable database design (MySQL, PostgreSQL or similar) with clear schema documentation.
– Clean API layer for future mobile app integration.
– Source-controlled codebase (Git) and a hand-off that includes installation guide and basic user manual.

Acceptance criteria
A live staging site, administrator credentials, sample data seeded, and a walkthrough video demonstrating transcript generation and ID card printing will mark completion of Milestone 1.
