I need a polished vertical slice built in Unity that demonstrates the core loop, visual style, and technical foundation of my upcoming title. The goal is to end up with a fully playable demo that runs smoothly on both PC and the latest-gen consoles, so every decision—from scene setup to input handling—must keep cross-platform performance in mind.

Scope
• Design and implement the main gameplay mechanics, UI flow, and at least one complete level or arena that shows them off.
• Integrate temporary art/audio assets (supplied or placeholder) so the slice feels coherent, while keeping project folders clean for future hand-off.
• Configure platform-specific settings: scalable graphics presets, controller support via the new Unity Input System, and build pipelines for Windows, PS5, and Xbox Series.
• Optimise lighting, shaders (URP or HDRP—whichever suits), and memory footprint; target 60 fps on mid-range PC hardware as a baseline.
• Document everything: commented C# scripts, a one-page tech overview, plus step-by-step build instructions.

Acceptance criteria
1. A single Unity project that opens without errors in the most recent LTS version.
2. Playable PC build (.exe) and console-ready packages with matching content and controls.
3. Source code and assets organised under clear namespaces and folders.
4. Performance captured with in-editor profiler showing stable frame-rate on default settings.
5. Short video walkthrough and README validating that the vertical slice meets the above points.

If you are comfortable pushing a feature-complete slice on this timeline, let’s get started.
