I’m building a tablet-based metro guide in Unity and I want you to turn my static network diagram into a fully interactive experience. The user will tap any two stations and instantly see the optimal route highlighted along with the calculated travel time.

Map & visuals
• The map must show every stop with its full station name and a distinctive icon, all laid out in a modern, sleek UI that feels at home on a recent Android tablet.

Core interactions
• Touch-select start and destination stations (single tap each).
• Run an in-app shortest-path algorithm (A* or Dijkstra—your choice) to draw the route and sum segment times.
• Show the total journey duration in a clear overlay.

Extra functionality
• Tapping a station also opens a small pop-up with preset information about that stop.
• Where more than one viable line exists, list alternative routes that differ by transfer points so the rider can compare.

Deliverables
1. Unity project (2021 LTS or newer) ready for Android build, with tidy scene hierarchy and commented C# scripts.
2. Source artwork for station icons plus any UI assets you create.
3. APK signed for tablet testing and a brief README explaining how to add or edit stations, times, and line colors.

I’ll supply the base map graphic and a CSV of stations, lines, and travel times; you wire it all together. The job is done when I can install the APK, pick any two stops, and reliably get routes, alternatives, and info pop-ups at 60 fps on an 8-inch Android tablet.
