Unique Mickey-themed First Birthday Party Planner

My little boy turns one on November 6th. Mickey Mouse tops his favourites list, yet I refuse to roll out the familiar “Mickey & Friends” décor that fills every party shop. He is equally captivated by lively music and anything that glows, so the celebration must weave those two passions together in a way guests will swear they have never seen before—no safaris, no race cars, nothing trending on Pinterest.

Here are some ideas i had in mind: a Disney light show? He loved the fireworks on July Fourth, or maybe a vintage theme, or a Disney animation studio theme. Thought maybe i could do like a comic book of my son's first year? And also get some Mickey comics.

The party will be held inside. I was thinking of renting out a play spot for kids/teens and just having some party favors and a few party decorations, like a balloon backdrop. Unless i can find an indoor venue that will allow me to have maybe some inflatable rentals or something fun for the kids.

Generally speaking, though, I need someone to help me finalize his party theme, help me find a venue, and help me figure out how we can utilize the space provided to create and bring this party theme to life.
