I need a professionally drafted, dual-jurisdiction agreement that lets my wife transfer £115,000 from the UK to her daughter in Sweden for the purchase of an apartment, while guaranteeing the property remains exclusively for the daughter and her two young children. I am open to structuring this either as a secured gift or a repayable loan—whichever mechanism offers the strongest protection—so long as the document is fully enforceable under both English and Swedish law.
Key issues the contract must address include:
• Clear wording that the apartment is to benefit only the daughter and children, insulating it from any future divorce claims by her spouse.
• A clause restricting any sale, transfer, or disposal of the apartment without my wife’s written consent (or another agreed trigger).
• Guidance on how Swedish property‐registration formalities should mirror the agreement so the Land Registry entry reflects these restrictions.
I expect a final, ready-to-sign agreement in bilingual format (English and Swedish) or accompanied by a certified translation, with explanatory notes on any steps we must take with Swedish authorities to make the restrictions effective.
