UK Remote Quantity Surveyor

I have a steady stream of commercial projects in the UK—mostly offices, retail units and similar workspaces—and I need a quantity surveyor who can step in remotely and handle the pre-contract numbers with confidence.

Your main focus will be:
• Building clear, reliable cost estimates that I can submit with tenders.
• Producing full bills of quantities and accurate digital take-offs from the drawings I supply.

I’m not wedded to NRM, SMM7 or any other rule set, so if you already have a tried-and-tested template or software workflow that keeps everything consistent, we can roll with that. All I care about is that the figures are transparent, traceable and laid out in a way contractors and clients can follow without fuss.

Expect to receive DWG/PDF plans, specification notes and a short brief for each scheme. Typical turnaround is one working week per project, although larger jobs may need staged submissions that we’ll agree in advance.
