UK-Based B2B Appointment Setter Needed

I’m looking for a UK-based freelance B2B appointment setter / lead generator to support my management accounting and fractional finance business.

I need someone with accountancy, bookkeeping or finance knowledge who understands management accounts, cash flow, budgeting and forecasting. This is important as you’ll be speaking directly with business owners and need to understand the service you’re representing.

The role is to identify and approach established owner-managed SMEs that are growing or going through change and have reached the point where the owner needs better financial visibility and support with decision-making. These businesses should generally be around £750k–£15m turnover with 5–50 employees, without an in-house Finance Director/FC. Good sectors include professional services, healthcare, recruitment, manufacturing, engineering, education/training, agencies, and established service businesses. Avoiding construction/CIS businesses.

Target areas include North Wales, Cheshire, Wirral, Chester, Warrington and the wider Manchester area. However, I can work remotely with businesses across the UK.

The role involves:
- Identifying and researching suitable prospects
- Carrying out LinkedIn/email/telephone outreach
- Following up prospects
- Explaining the Finance 360 Review clearly
- Booking qualified decision-makers into my diary
- Aiming for a minimum of one qualified attended appointment per week initially, building towards two per week

This is a small ongoing freelance role with a budget of approximately £325 per month. I’m open to discussing a basic fee plus a performance element for qualified attended appointments.

UK business/accountancy experience is essential.
