Typing Digital Docs to Text

I have a batch of Word and PDF documents that need to be re-typed exactly as they appear, but stripped of all styling so the final result is clean, plain UTF-8 text. The originals will be sent to you by email, and I’d like the completed files returned the same way—one .txt file per source document, using the original file name for easy tracking.

Accuracy is more important than speed: please preserve every word, line break, and piece of punctuation, but feel free to omit headings, fonts, or any other formatting cues. Before we wrap up, I’ll run a quick spot-check against the source to confirm there are no missing lines or transcription errors.

Deliverables
• Plain text (.txt) version of each emailed file, named identically to the original
• Confirmation of completion so I can spot-check and sign off within 24 hours
