Twilio SMS for Custom CRM

I need to connect my custom-built CRM to Twilio so that every new appointment or order status change automatically fires an SMS update to the customer. The CRM already stores the phone numbers and the event data; what it lacks is the Twilio wiring—number provisioning, message template logic, and the secure API calls or webhooks that do the actual sending.

Here’s what I’m hoping you can take off my plate:
• Configure a dedicated messaging service and verified sender numbers inside Twilio, ready for production use.
• Build the code (Node, Python, or PHP—whichever suits you best) that my CRM can call with the appointment/order details and get an immediate “queued” or “sent” response back.
• Map our existing status fields to text templates so updates read naturally and stay within carrier guidelines.
• Provide clear setup notes or inline comments so my own developer can extend or troubleshoot later.

Successful delivery means I can create or update a record in the CRM and watch the corresponding SMS land on my test phone in real time, all without manual intervention.
