I run a home remodeling and property services company in Syracuse, New York — kitchens, bathrooms, decks, painting, gutters, landscaping, power washing, junk removal.
I've got about two years of photos and video from real jobs in Google Drive. Roughly 150 photos and 45 clips, all shot by me on site. It's a mess: half of it loose in the main folder, most photos are iPhone HEIC.
**The whole job, in one line:**
> **One folder = one finished post.** I open a folder, select everything in it, hit post, done. No reordering, no hunting for a missing photo, no decisions left for me to make.
**What one folder looks like**
```
POST 04 - Bathroom - marble tile/
1_finished-wide.jpg
2_finished-doorway.jpg
3_shelving-detail.jpg
4_ceiling-tile-install.jpg
5_demo-open-walls.jpg
reel.mp4
caption.txt
```
Photos in posting order, a Reel if that job had video, and an empty caption.txt I fill in myself.
**How to build them**
Group files by job. You'll have to look at the photos — the filenames tell you nothing. Files from the same day usually have close IMG_ numbers, so a big jump means a different job.
**Order is backwards from what you'd expect.** Finished shot first — that's the cover and it has to stop the scroll. Details and progress next. The demo or "before" shot goes **last**, as the payoff. Not chronological.
3 to 7 photos per folder, never more than 10 — that's the carousel limit. Extras go in a `SPARE` subfolder inside the same post folder. Jobs with fewer than 3 usable photos go in `SINGLES`. Anything you can't identify goes in `UNSORTED` rather than guessed at.
Also: convert HEIC to JPEG, crop to 4:5 where it works, light straightening and exposure only. Drop duplicates, screenshots, half-second misfires and anything under 100 KB. Send me a short list of what you binned.
**Reels**
Where a job has video, cut a 15-second vertical Reel into that folder. 9:16, 1080p, no watermark. Text hook in the first second and a half — something like "Syracuse bathroom, studs to finished." Speed the walking footage up 3–4× and drop to real time for the reveal. That contrast is the whole trick.
**What I don't want**
No templates, swoosh overlays, BEFORE/AFTER banners, logo bugs or heavy filters. No stock photos or stock B-roll added in. These are real jobs and they need to look like it — plain and real beats polished and generic in my trade.
No captions, hashtags, posting or strategy. You're not posting anything anywhere. Files only.
**Practical**
You'd get edit access to a copy of my Drive folder once we're working together. The video is silent walkthroughs — no talking, no voiceover — so anything that works off a transcript won't help here.
Happy to talk budget once we've spoken. I'd rather start with one job and see how it goes than commit to the whole library up front.
**To apply**
Don't send a portfolio link and nothing else — I won't read it.
Answer this one question: given a silent two-minute walkthrough of a finished bathroom, what three seconds would you definitely keep, and what would you cut first? Two sentences is plenty.
Tell me what you edit in, too.
I only read the applications that answer the question.
