I have a pair of AI-generated concept images that show exactly how I want a Japanese sword tsuba and matching menuki to look. Your task is to turn those visuals into clean, manufacture-ready 3D CAD models.
• Source material
– Two high-resolution reference images (one for the tsuba, one for the menuki) featuring traditional Japanese patterns exactly as I want them carved or embossed.
– A dimension sheet with the precise outer, inner, and thickness measurements for both pieces. No need to estimate; just follow the numbers I supply.
• Your work
– Recreate every motif from the images with faithful detail, ensuring the patterns wrap or flow naturally around each part.
– Build solid, watertight models suitable for CNC machining or lost-wax casting. Undercuts, relief depth, and edge fillets must match the functional realities of sword fittings.
– Deliver the final geometry in STEP format. You are welcome to work in Fusion 360, SolidWorks, Rhino, or any other software as long as the exported STEP files open cleanly.
• Acceptance criteria
1. Geometry passes a solid integrity check (no open edges or self-intersections).
2. All supplied dimensions are held to ±0.05 mm.
3. Decorative features match the reference images when overlaid.
4. I can import the STEP files and immediately generate toolpaths without repair.
If revisions are needed to hit these points, I’ll provide concise notes and expect updated files.
