We are currently seeking a Senior Offshore Structural Engineer to join our team based in Kuala Lumpur.
Successful candidates would be offered a fixed term employment.

About the mission we offer you:
Perform as Leads / Sub-lead / Senior Engineer in project execution and takes the ownership of the specific tasks in a project:
Technical responsibility of Material Requisition
Performing Design Calculations
Coordination with other disciplines
Forecasting of MTO’s for design area
Reviewing vendor documents
Correctly interpret 3rd party reports such as geotechnical, bathymetric survey, met ocean data for the incorporation into structural design basis
Ensures an optimum engineering design compliance to codes and performance and timely issuance of engineering deliverable to Client
Prepares updates and checks calculations for detailed engineering
Contributes to optimization of material quantities by proposing value engineering solutions
Ensures contractual technical specifications are met by the suppliers – adheres to the committed manhours and budget
Ensure timely internal and external reporting on engineering/ requisitioning activities to the group leader
Meets quality objectives of the project
Interfaces with other discipline specialist engineers and possibly project support functions such as procurement and planning
Provides guidance and mentoring to more junior engineer

About you:
Engineering Degree in Civil Engineering with minimum 7 years experience in Design and execution of the projects in offshore facilities.
Minimum 3.5 in CGPA or 2nd Class Upper

Substructure and topsides In service analyses
Static in-place
Dynamic in-place
Spectral Fatigue
In-depth knowledge of Pre-service analyses

Frequent user of Abaqus / Ansys
Substructure and topsides In-service analyses
Seismic analysis (ELE and ALE)
