I want to partner with an experienced Roblox developer to launch a game where players focus on collecting, upgrading, and showing off vehicles, tools, and other machines. The core loop I have in mind is simple: explore → earn currency → unlock new gear → upgrade stats or cosmetics. Think of the satisfaction in Adopt Me’s pet meta, but swapped for cars, drills, drones—anything mechanical that can evolve over time.
Key points I already know I want:
• Goal for players: collect and continuously upgrade their items
• Theme of collectibles: vehicles, tools, and machines (no cute pets or anime powers this time)
• Monetisation: standard Roblox passes plus well-balanced micro-transactions, with revenue shared between us
Where I’m flexible:
• Exact genre wrapper—this could lean into a simulator, a light tycoon, or even an open-world adventure. I’m happy to refine that with you.
• Art style and map size, as long as it feels polished and mobile-friendly.
What you’d handle:
– Scripting the core systems (currency, inventory, upgrade paths, data stores) in Lua
– Building or overseeing low-poly 3D assets for the vehicles/tools, plus UI that clearly shows progression
– Integrating monetisation hooks and analytics so we can adjust balancing after launch
– Testing and optimising for smooth performance on mobile, tablet, and PC
What I’ll handle:
– Concept direction, marketing, community management, and paid ads once we hit beta
– Funding any external asset packs or promotional spend we agree on
Revenue share:
I’m proposing a percentage split of net Robux, released in milestones: prototype, closed beta, full launch, live updates. We’ll set clear numbers together before we start.
If building a Roblox title that can trend on the front page excites you, and you’re confident with Roblox Studio and Lua, let’s talk details and agree on the split.
