This individual will manage translation and localization projects from start to finish, partnering with cross-functional teams and external resources to ensure projects are delivered accurately, efficiently, and on schedule.

Main Objective:
Responsible for project managing the translation of assets in an economical fashion while meeting the high expectations of our internal requesters and our corporate quality requirements. Supporting the Manager, Global Language Management in the continuous improvement of all GLM processes.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
• Manages the initiation, planning, execution, monitoring, and closing of translation projects with internal translation requesters and external translation vendors.
• Applies project management techniques to ensure on time, in-budget, high-quality deliverables.
• Performs quality check upon receipt of translation(s).
• Uses translation management platform and technology.
• Uses marketing asset platform and technology.
• Troubleshoots areas of operational challenges across business areas.
• Documents translation process(es).
• Prepares project reports as needed.
• Participates in other global language initiatives and actively contributes ideas and suggestions for improvement.
• Additional tasks and special projects as assigned.
• Occasional travel may be required.
Knowledge and Skills:
In-depth knowledge of the language industry and project management
Experience with computer-assisted translation and terminology tools required
Exceptional organizational skills and proven ability to successfully manage a multitude of tasks, projects and information simultaneously
Excellent knowledge of English required
Knowledge of additional language(s) required
Strong interpersonal and communication skills
Team player and willingness to collaborate
Language industry experience required
Detail oriented, process focused, skilled in participating in process improvement initiatives
Education/ Experience:
BA or BS degree in Business Administration, Project Management, Translation, or Languages required
3 years of experience in the field of translation project management required
Medical Device industry experience preferred
