I’m taking a close look at the way transactions are currently handled in one of our core applications and would value guidance from someone who truly understands enterprise-grade transaction managers. My immediate goal is to review the existing configuration, spot any bottlenecks or reliability gaps, and then refine or re-architect the flow so it stays fully ACID-compliant under load.

Because the underlying platform can shift—IBM CICS, Oracle Transaction Manager, or Microsoft COM+ are all on the table—the engagement starts with a discovery session. We’ll walk through the present environment, traffic patterns, and pain points. From there, you will:

• Produce a concise health-check report covering isolation levels, locking strategy, fail-over settings, and logging.
• Recommend concrete tuning or design improvements with clear rationales.
• Implement agreed changes in a test sandbox, validate with load tests, then move to production once benchmarks are met.
• Provide a brief hand-over document so my team can maintain the new setup confidently.

Scripts, configuration files, and any test harness you create should be delivered through our Git repository, with change notes that tie each commit to a specific issue or requirement.
