I’m expanding the art team at AURONIX Studios for a brand-new, original Manhwa and need an illustrator who can carry a clean, Traditional Manhwa style from the first character sketch all the way to the final panel.
What the day-to-day looks like
You’ll be interpreting scripts, refining character sheets, staging dynamic fight sequences, and giving each scene a believable sense of place. Expect plenty of collaboration over Discord/Slack as we trade references and iterate on layouts; clear, timely communication is essential.
The skill set I’m after
• Confident line work and expressive anatomy that reads instantly
• Fast, fluid action choreography—impact frames, speed lines, the works
• Backgrounds and environments that feel lived-in yet never steal focus
• Comfort working from reference while keeping every page visually consistent
• A commitment to the Traditional Manhwa aesthetic we’ve chosen for this title
Typical deliverables
1. Character turnaround sheets with emotion ranges
2. Rough page layouts / storyboards for pacing approval
3. Cleaned, inked, and toned final pages (PSD or Clip Studio files, layered)
4. Occasional promotional illustrations or cover art
How to pitch yourself
Send a link to your portfolio (finished pages preferred), a quick rundown of relevant experience, your weekly availability, and which production tasks you enjoy most. If our styles click, we’ll discuss timelines and set up a paid test page before rolling into full chapters.
Create an entire world with us—one panel at a time.
