I’m moving into the interior-finishing stage of a newly built residential townhouse and need a detail-oriented professional to see this last phase through to completion. Your job will be to translate my design concept into a fully specified finish package, source and schedule materials, and oversee on-site installation so every room is delivered move-in ready.
Scope of work
• Develop or refine finish schedules covering flooring, cabinetry, fixtures, hardware, paint colours and any bespoke millwork.
• Confirm product availability, lead times and quantities with suppliers, then align deliveries with the build timeline.
• Coordinate and brief trades—painters, tilers, carpenters, electricians, plumbers—so workmanship meets design intent and local code.
• Provide weekly progress updates with photos, snag lists and a clear action plan for outstanding items.
• Sign off each space against agreed specifications and quality standards.
Acceptance criteria
• All finishes installed exactly to the approved schedule and samples.
• Zero open items on the final snag list.
• Handover pack supplied: supplier invoices, warranties, care instructions and an as-built finish schedule in PDF and editable format.
I’m open to discussing your preferred workflow or software—AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, Trello, or similar—as long as communication remains clear and timely. If you have townhouse or multi-unit experience and a solid network of reliable finish trades, let’s talk about how quickly we can bring this project across the line.
