Toddler Friendship Picture Book Writer

I’m creating a picture book for children aged 3–5 and need a warm, engaging story that celebrates friendship. The language should be simple enough for emerging readers yet lively for parents to read aloud, with a gentle rhythm and occasional repetition.

The manuscript will run about 500–700 words, mapped to roughly 24–28 pages. Please include concise illustration notes on each spread—character poses, moods, colour hints—so a hand-drawn illustrator can capture the vision without guesswork.

Deliverables
• Complete manuscript in Word or Google Doc
• Page-by-page illustration brief referencing a hand-drawn style
• Two revision rounds after the first draft

Acceptance criteria
The story must keep friendship as its clear through-line, maintain age-appropriate vocabulary, and ensure every spread moves the plot forward or deepens character bonds.
