Toddler Counting Book Author Needed

I’m creating an educational picture book for babies and toddlers aged 0-3 that makes numbers and counting feel playful from the very first page. The manuscript should be intentionally simple: rhythmical lines, age-appropriate vocabulary, plenty of repetition, and gentle sound patterns that parents can read aloud during snuggle time.

The story must stay focused on numbers 1 through 10, weaving them naturally into everyday toddler experiences—think stacking blocks, splashing in the bath, or spotting ladybugs in the garden—so little listeners grasp the concept without feeling they’re in a lesson. I’ll handle the illustrations separately, so please write vivid yet concise scene cues that an artist can interpret easily.

Deliverables

• Brief illustration notes for each spread (one-sentence cues are enough)
• One round of revisions included to fine-tune flow or wording after feedback
