Looking for a bookkeeper to help organize the finances for my small business using Tiller Money and Google Sheets.

My first priority is 2024 tax preparation. Transactions are already imported and many are categorized.

First Step — Paid 2-Hour Test
At first, we will need to chat online to review unclear items– these task will include:

-Review a sample of 2024 transactions.
-Check and correct categories.
-Organize expenses using categories provided by my CPA.
-Separate business, personal, and uncertain transactions.
-Flag items that need my review.
-Prepare a simple summary by tax category.

If the test goes well, there is additional work and ideally a long term working relationship:
-Complete 2024 tax expense organization.
-Clean up the Tiller spreadsheet.
-Set up a simple Profit & Loss statement.
-Set up a practical monthly budget.
-Improve transaction categorization and automation.

Google Sheets experience is required. Tiller experience is preferred.

To Apply:
Please keep your response very short.
1. Have you personally used Tiller Money? Yes / No
2. Are you familiar with basic US Tax Systems (S-corp? Don’t need to be a CPA).
3. How many years of bookkeeping experience do you have?
4, How would you handle a transaction if you are not sure whether it is a business expense?
What is your hourly rate?
5. Are you willing to complete the paid 2-hour test?
6. Are you available for video conference calls.

Please answer these five questions only. Do not send a general proposal or cover letter.

I will ask selected applicants additional questions before choosing people for the paid test.
