I’m putting together a tightly paced thriller mini-series set in a contemporary urban city and driven by a crime-investigation storyline. I have the overarching concept, key characters, and several pivotal plot points sketched out, but I need an experienced scriptwriter to transform this framework into a compelling, episode-by-episode screenplay.
What I’m after
• A complete set of polished scripts for the full mini-series (episode count and length to be confirmed together once you review my outline).
• Strong, believable dialogue that captures the tension of big-city policing while keeping viewers guessing.
• Well-structured cliff-hangers and act breaks that honour classic crime-thriller pacing.
• Consistent character development that stays true to the high-stakes investigation at the heart of the story.
How we’ll work
I’ll provide my series bible, scene ideas and research notes immediately after kickoff. From there, I’d like:
1. An episode outline from you for approval.
2. First-draft scripts delivered episode by episode, so feedback is fast and focused.
3. One revision pass on each script to lock everything before we move to the next instalment.
Tools & format
Please be comfortable writing in industry-standard software such as Final Draft, Celtx or Fade In and delivering the final files in PDF + editable format.
Acceptance criteria
A script is considered complete when:
• It matches the approved outline and stays rooted in the urban-city, crime-investigation thriller tone.
• Dialogue, action lines and scene headings are correctly formatted.
• Page count aligns with our agreed episode length.
• All feedback notes have been addressed and the story flows seamlessly from pilot to finale.
If crafting edge-of-your-seat thrillers is your specialty, let’s discuss your approach and previous series work.
