The role focuses on ensuring clinical accuracy, correct Norwegian healthcare terminology, translation quality, readability, and compliance with Norwegian healthcare marketing regulations.
Key responsibilities
Review content on ADHD, depression, anxiety, OCD, trauma, and other mental health conditions for clinical accuracy.
Identify misleading, exaggerated, outdated, or unsupported medical claims and verify reliable sources.
Ensure correct Norwegian medical and psychological terminology.
Check that content accurately describes the responsibilities and limitations of psychologists, psychiatrists, and other healthcare professionals in Norway.
Review English-to-Norwegian translations for changes in clinical meaning, cultural relevance, and terminology.
Check Norwegian grammar, readability, and clarity for patients.
Flag potential violations of Norwegian healthcare marketing regulations, particularly Helsepersonelloven § 13.
Provide clear, actionable written feedback with suggested corrections and supporting references.
Requirements
Final year student in Norway's professional psychology programme (profesjonsstudiet i psykologi) or newly qualified psychologist.
Good knowledge of clinical psychology and the Norwegian healthcare system.
Excellent written Norwegian Bokmål and good English comprehension.
Familiarity with Norwegian clinical guidelines and healthcare terminology.
Strong attention to detail, source verification, and written communication skills.
Preferred: Clinical placement experience or previous experience reviewing mental health or healthcare content.
What we offer
Flexible, remote, part-time work.
Opportunities to work across various mental health topics.
Practical experience in clinical content review and healthcare communication.
Location: Norway (Remote)
Job type: Part-time / Freelance
How to apply
Send your CV, current education or professional qualifications, relevant experience, and availability.
Shortlisted candidates may be asked to complete a short paid content-review test.
This is a content-review role, not a patient-facing position. Matters requiring final medical or legal approval will be escalated to appropriately qualified professionals.
