Subject: Design Request - Food-Grade Screw Cap for Beverage Bottle

Dear Sir/Madam,

We are developing a new beverage bottle and require a purpose-built screw-on cap.

PROJECT OVERVIEW
Design a reliable, manufacturable screw-thread closure for a standard water-bottle neck. The cap must be safe for food contact and suitable for mass production via conventional injection molding.

KEY REQUIREMENTS
1. Material: Food-grade plastic. PP or HDPE preferred
2. Function: Form a leak-tight seal on a standard bottle neck. No leakage at room temperature
3. Usability: Threads must engage smoothly without cross-threading. Comfortable for repeated opening and closing
4. Manufacturing: Design must be optimized for single-cavity injection molding. Include proper draft angles

DELIVERABLES - ALL FILES MUST BE PRODUCTION-READY
- 3D CAD model in STEP format, SolidWorks compatible
- 2D technical drawing with full thread specification, tolerances, and draft angles
- 1 Simple rendered image for presentation and marketing use

ACCEPTANCE CRITERIA
- Threads engage smoothly without cross-threading
- Cap passes a basic leak test at room temperature for 24 hours
- Draft angles compatible with a single-cavity mold

ADDITIONAL VALUE
Experience with plastic threaded closures is preferred. Please also recommend suitable food-safe resins and advise on tooling considerations.
