I need a complete therapy-management solution that pairs a responsive web portal with an Android app dedicated to patients. On the mobile side the focus is simple but critical: patients must be able to book or reschedule appointments in just a few taps, and instantly see confirmation, reminders, and any last-minute changes pushed to their phones. Each patient will also have a secure profile where personal details, intake forms, and treatment notes are stored and displayed in an easy timeline view.
The web component should use the same database and API so information stays perfectly in sync. I will use the browser interface mainly to review and update patient records, open new time slots, and run basic reports; no therapist or admin role management is needed beyond my own login for now, so keep permissions streamlined.
Please follow standard best practices for encrypted data at rest and in transit, clean RESTful endpoints, and an architecture that can later expand to iOS with minimal refactor. I’m comfortable with Kotlin, Flutter, or React Native on the mobile side and any modern web stack (React, Vue, or Django templates are fine) as long as you document dependencies clearly.
Deliverables
• Production-ready Android app (APK + source)
• Responsive web portal code
• REST/GraphQL API with basic auth
• Deployment guide and brief walkthrough video
Acceptance criteria
1. A patient can create, modify, and cancel an appointment and receive confirmation notifications.
2. All profile data edits on either platform appear on the other within 5 seconds.
3. Data encryption and simple JWT-based session handling are demonstrated in the repo read-me.
