We are seeking an experienced independent B2B Sales Agent / Business Development Specialist with proven ability to negotiate and secure commercial partnerships.

Our immediate goal is to secure our first US retail pilot partners for The Hobby Guild, a new tabletop wargaming marketplace.

THIS IS A DIRECT B2B SALES ROLE — NOT software development, SEO, digital marketing or lead-generation-only work.

You must be able to identify suitable retailers, reach US business owners, conduct sales calls and video meetings in fluent spoken English, handle objections, negotiate approved terms and progress discussions toward signed agreements. Fluent spoken English and demonstrable B2B sales experience are essential.

ABOUT THE HOBBY GUILD

The Hobby Guild is a Swiss-based marketplace project in development, preparing for a US launch. Our multi-retailer shopping cart optimizer aims to create additional sales opportunities for independent retailers by considering product availability, total delivered cost, delivery time, number of shipments and customer preferences.

Customers will be able to shop from one or multiple participating retailers through a coordinated purchasing experience. Each retailer remains independent, acts as seller and merchant of record for its own orders/sub-orders, and handles its own fulfillment, returns and customer service. The Hobby Guild facilitates the customer experience and coordinates issues when needed.

We also plan to acquire demand through partnerships with tabletop wargaming content creators. We have not yet secured our first retailer or established a proven sales history. Applicants must understand early-stage commercial challenges.

PHASE 1 – FOUNDING RETAILER & GAMES WORKSHOP CLARIFICATION

Maximum potential compensation: USD 2,500

Our initial priority is a credible, established US retailer with an active Games Workshop retailer account, willing to participate in a pilot. This will launch a broader retail network.

FOUNDING RETAILER CRITERIA

The retailer should:

- Operate a credible US retail business with an active Games Workshop retailer account.
- Stock a substantial and diverse Warhammer range, including meaningful choices of miniatures, boxed sets and products across multiple armies or game systems. Paints and hobby accessories alone are insufficient. No fixed SKU minimum is imposed.
- Maintain real inventory and reliable stock information.
- Ship to all 48 contiguous US states and Washington, D.C., on transparent, commercially reasonable terms.
- Fulfill orders professionally and handle its own shipping, returns and customer service.
- Cooperate with catalogue, inventory and order integration, testing and pilot operations.

Retailers of varying sizes qualify based on assortment, availability, reliability and willingness to collaborate.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES

- Find, assess and qualify suitable retailers; identify the actual decision-makers.
- Conduct personalized outreach, including real telephone calls and relevant follow-ups.
- Present approved materials and our recorded platform demonstration.
- Personally lead discussions, video meetings, objection handling and negotiations in fluent English.
- Seek verifiable written commitment from a qualified founding retailer.
- Facilitate the retailer's submission of our approved business model to its Games Workshop representative and follow up on the written clarification.
- Work toward an approved, signed pilot agreement once prerequisites are met.
- Keep detailed outreach records and provide regular written progress reports.

You will manage commercial communications independently. We provide approved materials, handle technical assessments and integration, and retain final approval of all partners and terms. No unauthorized promises or binding commitments may be made on our behalf.

GAMES WORKSHOP – WRITTEN CLARIFICATION REQUIRED

The interested retailer must accurately submit our actual third-party, multi-retailer marketplace model to Games Workshop. We require an identifiable, sufficiently specific, favorable written response from an appropriately authorized Games Workshop representative or department.

It must address the relevant distribution implications of retailers selling through a third-party marketplace, the multi-retailer checkout, who is seller of record, payment arrangements and platform commissions, and applicable product-listing, pricing or other restrictions.

Generic answers and verbal assurances are insufficient; we independently assess the authority and scope of any reply.

This written clarification is a crucial prerequisite to our decision to incorporate the company and incur major legal, tax and operational expenses.

COMPENSATION – PHASE 1 (FOUR MILESTONES)

1) USD 500 – VERIFIED PROSPECTING & PHONE OUTREACH

Qualified retailer research, decision-maker identification, personalized commercial outreach (including documented real telephone attempts), follow-ups and a verifiable report of activities, responses and objections. Email-only outreach or prospect lists alone do not qualify. Calls must be genuine; answers cannot be guaranteed. Exact activity targets and deliverables will be agreed in advance.

2) USD 1,000 – FIRST COMMITTED RETAILER

A qualified retailer must have reviewed essential terms, confirmed in writing a genuine intention to proceed toward a pilot, and submitted our approved model to its Games Workshop representative for written clarification. Vague interest or a meeting alone does not qualify.

3) USD 500 – FAVORABLE WRITTEN GAMES WORKSHOP CONFIRMATION

Success bonus only if an identifiable, sufficiently specific and favorable written reply from an appropriately authorized Games Workshop source addresses our actual commercial model and provides a reliable basis for assessing its compatibility with applicable distribution requirements. The agent facilitates follow-up; we independently verify the response.

4) USD 500 – SIGNED, VIABLE PILOT PARTNERSHIP

Success bonus once an approved, commercially viable pilot agreement is signed with a qualified founding retailer and required Games Workshop, legal and technical conditions are satisfied.

The agreement must include a FIRM SIX-MONTH initial commitment starting at effective commercial go-live, with active cooperation in integration, testing, accurate inventory, order fulfillment, nationwide contiguous-US shipping and retailer-owned after-sales responsibilities. No ordinary termination for convenience during that period, subject to clearly defined exceptions (e.g., serious breach, legal/Games Workshop restrictions or major technical infeasibility). Onboarding deadlines will be agreed.

No retailer exclusivity or guaranteed minimum sales volume is required. A non-binding letter of intent is not sufficient for this milestone.

PHASE 1 MAXIMUM: USD 2,500.

Completed and approved milestones remain payable if Games Workshop later responds unfavorably. An unfavorable or inadequate reply does not trigger Milestone 3 or Phase 2. Deliverables, verification, timelines and payment terms will be agreed in writing before work begins. This is an independent project assignment, not salaried employment; potential bonuses are not guaranteed.

## PHASE 2 – OPTIONAL NETWORK EXPANSION

Additional potential compensation: USD 2,500

Only after favorable written Games Workshop clarification, a signed viable founding-retailer pilot agreement, and separate written authorization from The Hobby Guild, the agent may be commissioned to secure TWO additional US retailer partnerships.

USD 1,250 per additional signed, commercially viable partnership. Smaller complementary retailers may qualify. Phase 2 is optional, not an automatic extension.

TOTAL POTENTIAL COMPENSATION: UP TO USD 5,000, NOT GUARANTEED.

IDEAL CANDIDATE

- Proven B2B sales, negotiation and closing experience, preferably with US retailers, merchants, distributors or marketplaces.
- Verifiable examples of partnerships personally negotiated or secured.
- Fluent SPOKEN English; ability to handle US business calls and video negotiations directly during suitable US hours.
- Independent, conscientious, methodical and accountable, with sound commercial judgment.
- Strong follow-through, transparent reporting, attention to detail, confidentiality and respect for agreed boundaries.
- Familiarity with Games Workshop, Warhammer or hobby retail is a plus, not mandatory.
- US-based or international candidates welcome if all communication requirements are met.

HOW TO APPLY

Please briefly address:

1. B2B deals or partnerships you personally secured, with verifiable examples.
2. Your experience negotiating with US retailers or business owners.
3. Your fluent spoken-English capability for independent calls and negotiations.
4. How you would win our first retailer despite our early-stage status.
5. Whether YOU personally handle outreach and negotiations or delegate them.
