I have several text-based documents that need to be moved onto a website that does not run on a content-management system. You’ll be pasting the material directly into the site’s raw HTML files, so a basic comfort level with HTML tags and simple formatting (headings, paragraphs, bold/italic, links) is essential.
The job is straightforward: copy the text exactly as provided, place it in the correct page files, and make sure each section keeps its original structure—no CMS shortcuts here. I’ll supply:
• The source documents (Word format)
• A list of destination pages and their file paths
• Style guidelines so headings, lists, and links remain consistent
What I expect back:
• Updated HTML pages with the new copy in place and properly formatted
• A quick summary of any anomalies you spot—broken links, missing headings, or spacing issues—so I can review them fast
Accuracy and attention to detail matter more than speed. If you’re comfortable editing plain HTML and double-checking your work, this task should be simple and quick.
