Text File Data Cleaning

Hey Folks,

I have a batch of raw text files that contain customer records, but many of the fields are incomplete. I need twenty reliable freelancers located in the UK or USA to help me tidy these files so every record is complete and consistently formatted.

Here is what the job involves:

• I will supply plain .txt files (UTF-8). Each line represents a single record with tab-separated fields.
• Your task is to identify every instance of missing or partially filled fields, research or cross-reference the information I provide, and then fill in the gaps without altering any of the other data.
• Once finished, return the cleaned text files to me using the same structure and file names, with a short change log that notes any assumptions you had to make.

Acceptance criteria:

1. No record should contain empty or placeholder values.
2. Original ordering, spacing, and encoding must remain intact.
3. A spot-check of 50 random lines must show 100 % completion and no unintended edits.

Newcomers are welcome—if you can follow directions precisely and communicate clearly, you’re a fit. I’ll assign files in small batches so you can demonstrate accuracy before moving to the next set.
