Text Extraction from Scans

I have a collection of scanned images that contain paragraphs of text which I need transcribed with perfect accuracy. The task is straightforward: carefully read each image and re-type the content into clean, UTF-8-encoded plain-text files—one file per page works best for my workflow.
Because the material comes only as scans, there is no editable source; everything must be keyed in or run through OCR and then meticulously proof-read. Formatting is minimal: no bold, italics, or tables—just the raw text exactly as it appears, line breaks preserved where they matter.
Deliverable
• A compressed folder of plain-text (.txt) files, clearly named to match their corresponding images.
I will review by comparing a random sample of your files against the originals, so accuracy is the top priority. Let me know your estimated turnaround time and any questions you have about the scans themselves, and we can get started right away.
