I have a full architectural and civil framing set for a wood-framed single-family residence in Southlake, Tarrant County, Texas. The site’s design wind speed is 115 mph (ultimate), so I need a Texas-licensed Professional Engineer to create the complete lateral load-resisting system.
Your work begins with a thorough review of the existing foundation design, wall framing, and roof structure shown on the plans. From there, size and detail every element required—shear walls, hold-downs, collectors, diaphragms, anchorages, and any special connections—so the building meets current IRC/IBC and ASCE 7 requirements, as well as local amendments.
Deliverables
• Permit ready structure design with lateral load structural calculation package in PDF, clearly addressing wind and seismic loads.
•construction-ready structural plan sheets (PDF + DWG) coordinated with the architectural set and ready for City of Southlake permit submittal.
I prefer project to be done in Revit 2027.
If you hold an active Texas PE license and have recent experience engineering wood residential projects, I look forward to working with you.
