I am preparing to take a brand-new smart device built around Triboelectric Nanogenerator (TENG) technology from concept to commercial reality. The core idea is clear, the early sketches are on paper, and now I need an experienced partner who can transform those concepts into a fully engineered, manufacturable product.
Here’s what I need help with:
• Technical refinement – optimise the TENG architecture, material selection, energy-management circuitry and enclosure layout so the device delivers reliable, harvest-based power in everyday use.
• Prototype development – create CAD files, PCB layouts, firmware (if required) and a functional proof-of-concept that we can test for output, durability and user safety.
• Testing & iteration – run lab-level performance tests, suggest design tweaks and document results to ensure we hit agreed benchmarks for power density, lifespan and operating environment.
• Manufacturing package – deliver complete fabrication drawings, BOM, assembly instructions and compliance documentation (CE/FCC or regional equivalents) so the design is ready for small-batch production and future scale-up.
• Go-to-market assets – concise user guide, basic branding recommendations and any performance data that will support investors, grant submissions or early adopters.
Acceptance criteria
✓ Working prototype that meets the specified output curve under defined load conditions.
✓ Editable source files (CAD, Gerber, firmware, BOM) and a clear version history.
✓ Test report confirming durability and compliance readiness.
✓ A short handover call or walkthrough so I can maintain and iterate the design internally.
If you have practical experience with energy-harvesting hardware, embedded power management, or previous TENG projects, I’d love to see examples. Let’s collaborate to turn this promising technology into a market-ready smart device.
