While I’m travelling I need a dependable pair of hands, ideally in the UK, EU or Ireland, to look after my Windows-based laptop remotely. The job is straightforward but demands fast replies and clear communication so that any hiccup is dealt with before it becomes a problem.

Your day-to-day work will revolve around three areas:

• File organisation – tidying the current folder structure, naming conventions and archiving anything I flag as no longer active.
• Light troubleshooting – if Windows throws a minor error, an update stalls, or something starts running slowly, you’ll investigate and fix it or flag it to me with a concise explanation and next steps.
• General upkeep – making sure security software stays current, the drive remains clutter-free and backups complete as scheduled.

I’ll stay reachable on chat for quick authorisations. A short handover at the start will outline my current setup and preferred tools; after that, I expect proactive check-ins so I always know the machine is healthy.
