I’m setting up a light-hearted entertainment site built around bite-sized puzzle games designed specifically for teenagers. The tone should be colourful, fast and social-media friendly—think quick loading screens, playful UI elements and smooth mobile responsiveness so players can dip in between classes or on the bus.
Scope
• Build a small, modern website (single-page or multipage, your call) that hosts at least one fully functioning puzzle game.
• Games must run natively in the browser—HTML5 / JavaScript with Canvas, WebGL, React or a lightweight engine such as Phaser are all fine as long as they stay snappy on mid-range phones.
• Provide a straightforward way for me to drop in additional puzzle titles later (folder structure, JSON manifest or admin panel—whichever is simplest).
• Visual style should appeal to teens: vibrant colour palette, minimal text, instant feedback animations and optional sound effects with mute control.
• Include a slim scoreboard or best-time tracker stored either locally or in a lightweight back-end (Firebase, Supabase, or a simple Node/Express API).
Acceptance Criteria
1. At least one puzzle game fully playable end-to-end on Chrome, Safari and a recent Android browser.
2. Responsive layout passes Google Lighthouse mobile checks at 90 %+ performance.
3. Clear instructions and source code packaged so I can deploy to a standard shared host or Vercel/Netlify in a single step.
Hand over the code, any assets you create, and a brief README with build/run steps. Once everything works smoothly for a teen audience, the project’s done.
