My homepage is stepping on the toes of one category-level product pages and it is costing me visibility in Google. I need an experienced technical SEO who can pinpoint where the overlap is happening and implement the right solutions so each page ranks for the term it deserves.

Scope of work
• Crawl the entire site, map every URL, and highlight all instances where the homepage and category pages are competing for the same primary keywords.
• Recommend and execute fixes—this might include canonical tags, 301s, refreshed metadata, content consolidation, or strategic internal linking.
• Validate all changes in Google Search Console and share before/after ranking data so I can see measurable improvement in search positions.

Acceptance criteria
• No duplicate primary keywords between the homepage and any category page.
• Clean index status for all adjusted URLs (no new errors or warnings).
• Documented ranking lift or, at minimum, removal of cannibalization signals within four weeks of implementation.

Please outline the tools you plan to use (Screaming Frog, Sitebulb, Ahrefs, etc.) and a realistic timeline for each milestone when you reply.
