Technical Advisor for Beauty-Tech R&D

I am seeking an experienced, independent technical consultant for an early-stage beauty-tech and consumer hardware startup.

Key Responsibilities:

* Attend virtual meetings with potential R&D and engineering partners.
* Evaluate technical feasibility, development proposals, costs, timelines, and risks.
* Ask relevant technical questions and explain complex information clearly.
* Assess and compare R&D companies to help select the right development partner.
* Provide independent technical guidance throughout the initial development process.

Ideal Skills and Experience:

* Strong background in hardware R&D and product development.
* Experience with automated liquid dispensing, precision dosing, or mixing technologies.
* Knowledge of cosmetic technology or chemical processing is preferred.
* Experience managing or evaluating external R&D partners.
* Experience taking physical products from concept to commercialization.

Engagement: Part-time, hourly, or project-based.

I am looking for an independent technical adviser, not someone to design or manufacture the product. Further project details will be shared privately with shortlisted candidates under an NDA.
