Tech Packs for Premium Capsule Collection

Job Description:
We are a starting premium fashion brand based in the UAE, and we are looking for a highly skilled Pattern Maker / Technical Designer to develop the Tech Packs and Digital Patterns (DXF/Gerber format) for our launch capsule collection consisting of 5 pieces.
Our brand philosophy bridges ancient structural geometry with modern, high-end streetwear/resort wear. The collection will be tailored for college students and young adults, using premium natural fabrics (heavyweight linen and structured cotton).

Collection Aesthetic & Silhouette Guidelines:

• The Silhouette: Focus on clean, regal, column-like lines, sharp angles, and structured geometric shapes.
• Body Type Focus: The patterns must be specifically engineered to complement and flatter the Natural Pear Shape (common in the Middle East).
• Key Design Features:
• Strong, Structured Shoulders: Boxy/structured upper frames to balance the silhouette.
• The Illusion of Height: Incorporating elevated waistlines (Empire waist cuts) and continuous vertical lines to create an elongated, majestic look.
• Fluid Monolithic Lower Pieces: Clean, straight-leg, and pleated/wrapped draping that flows smoothly over the hips without excess bunching.
• Sizing: The initial sample patterns will be made for a Relaxed Small / Tailored Medium (EU 36/38), optimized for a model height of 170–173 cm with realistic athletic-pear proportions.

Scope of Work:

1. Transform 2D design sketches/concepts into accurate, production-ready digital patterns (with grading rules for future sizes S to XL).
2. Create detailed, professional Tech Packs for each of the 5 pieces, including:
• Detailed Measurement Charts (Spec Sheets).
• Stitching & Construction details (seam types, finishing instructions).
• Material, hardware, and embellishment/placement maps (for targeted embroidery/pleating details).

Requirements:

• Proven experience in technical design and pattern making for high-end or contemporary streetwear/resort wear brands.
• Deep understanding of garment drape, structured fabrics (Linen/Cotton), and sizing ergonomics for diverse body shapes.
• Ability to deliver industry-standard digital files ready for factory sampling (in عجمان/الشارقة).
• Portfolio showcasing clean tailoring, boxy/fitted and oversized structures, or pleated/wrapped garments.
