I need a brand-new TDL solution that plugs straight into Tally and delivers clear, reliable business reports focused on accounts, expenses, and profit. The goal is to move away from manual spreadsheet work and let Tally generate the summaries I review every week—P&L snapshots, expense breakdowns, and comparative period analyses.
Here’s how I picture the flow: data already entered in Tally is pulled automatically, run through your TDL code, and displayed or exported in neatly formatted reports (PDF and Excel preferred). Filters by date range, ledger group, and cost centre are essential, and drill-down capability from summary figures to voucher details will make it truly useful.
To hit the ground running, you’ll need solid experience with TDL, the Tally ODBC layer, and typical report structures inside TallyPrime / ERP 9. If you’ve built dynamic dashboards or multi-company reports before, that’s a plus.
Deliverables
• TDL source files and compiled TCP
• Step-by-step installation guide
• Short user manual outlining available filters, report layouts, and export options
• One round of tweaks after initial review to ensure the numbers match my books
I’ll provide a test company data set as soon as we agree on the approach, and I’m happy to hop on a quick call to clarify any field names or ledger structures you need.
