Tampa QE Support: SQL & Python

I’m looking for a hands-on Quality Engineer who can sit with our team in Tampa and jump straight into day-to-day support on a large finance platform. Your focus will be functional testing and quick troubleshooting, so you’ll spend most of your time writing and refining SQL queries, scripting in Python, validating business rules, and helping analysts reproduce and fix issues as they arise.

On a typical day you’ll:
• Design and execute functional test cases against new and existing features.
• Craft clean, efficient SQL queries to pull data, verify results, and investigate defects.
• Use Python to automate repetitive checks or to parse and compare large data sets.
• Log clear, concise defects and re-test fixes in coordination with developers and business users.

Must-haves:
• Solid understanding of QA principles in a finance environment.
• Proven ability to write complex SQL for data validation.
• Comfortable scripting in Python for test utilities or lightweight automation.
• Available to work on-site in Tampa, FL—this role cannot be done remotely.

Nice to have but not required: experience with performance or security testing tools; familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and version control.
