I have a collection of conversational recordings in Tagalog and Taglish that I need transcribed directly into clear, fluent English. The material spans roughly two months of sessions, so the total length is well beyond the three-hour mark.
What makes the job challenging is the sound quality: many clips carry significant background noise—traffic hum, overlapping chatter, the occasional clatter of dishes. You will have to rely on sharp listening skills, noise-reduction tricks in tools like Audacity or Adobe Audition, and plenty of patience to capture every line accurately.
Here is what I expect:
• A straight English transcript for each audio file—no Tagalog retained—presented in a clean, readable document (Word or Google Docs is fine).
• Clear speaker labeling whenever voices switch.
• Natural punctuation and paragraph breaks so the text is easy to follow.
Because of the volume, feel free to propose a logical batching schedule; I’m happy to review partial deliveries as you go. Accuracy and consistency from the first minute to the last are more important to me than sheer speed. Let me know the toolkit you normally use and a realistic timeline for handling a project of this size and quality level, and we can get started.
