Mission:
Your mission is to generate returns for Interpetrol by profitably trading financial and physical freight products, within the risk limits allocated to you.
We believe that a systematic machine-assisted decision process is best to consistently achieve your mission, incorporating both deterministic and non-deterministic (AI-based) approaches.
Nonetheless, you will be permitted to make discretionary trades, when opportunities present themselves.
You will also be permitted to request risk limits for products outside of your primary area of focus, subject to approval of management, if trading such additional products would be complementary to your mission.
Interpetrol will support you in numerous ways, including:
providing a platform to employ the latest technologies relevant to your mission
providing an experienced senior colleague as “co-pilot” for your trading decisions
providing a global network of physical customer relationships, through which you can access information, liquidity and profit opportunities
Location:
This position is offered by our office in Zug, Switzerland.
If you are an exceptional candidate but are not able to work in the region of Zug, we nonetheless encourage you to submit your application. By its nature, commodities trading is a global business, and Interpetrol continuously reviews and develops its office footprint to support operational and commercial needs.
Remuneration:
Your remuneration is structured to best align your incentives with the interests of Interpetrol. As a result, the focus of your remuneration will be:

Requirements:
Valid Swiss work permit or EU/EFTA citizenship
experience with programming in your language of choice
experience with processing of large data sets is required
