We are in the final stretch before putting our new seawater reverse-osmosis desalination plant into full operation, and I need an experienced commissioning engineer who can step in immediately and steer the hand-over. Your focus will be on three fronts: bring every SWRO process unit through testing and commissioning, train our onsite operations team so they can take over confidently, and fine-tune the system for optimal throughput and energy efficiency.

The plant is mechanically complete; piping pressure tests, DCS loops, and MCC energisation are behind us. What remains are the live water runs, performance guarantee runs, chemical cleaning sequences, and all the documentation that proves the plant is ready to deliver product water on spec and on schedule. You will be working side-by-side with our EPC contractor, vendors (high-pressure pumps, ERD, pre-treatment filters), and the owner’s engineers to close out open punch items and clear the way for substantial completion.

Key deliverables:
• Signed-off commissioning and performance test reports for each process train
• A concise troubleshooting and optimisation log highlighting set-point adjustments and energy savings achieved
• Classroom and hands-on training sessions (operator rosters already set) with attendance records and competency sign-offs
• As-built commissioning manuals and O&M updates reflecting any changes made during start-up

We run PI System for data capture, Yokogawa DCS, and have standard SWRO projection software for membrane analysis, so familiarity with these tools will be valuable. The assignment is onsite for eight to ten weeks, starting immediately, with remote follow-up support for the first month of commercial operation.

If you have a track record of bringing SWRO plants over the finish line and can hit the ground running, let’s talk and get the water flowing.
