Swiggy-Like Food Ordering Platform

I need an end-to-end food ordering platform that mirrors the core experience of Swiggy and Zomato while adding fare-settlement flow for restaurants. At launch the system must support both home delivery and in-store pickup, and it has to run as four distinct products that talk to the same backend:

• a customer-facing Android app
• a restaurant dashboard (web or tablet)
• a delivery-partner app
• a full-featured admin console for my team

Customers should be able to choose between online payment (UPI, cards, wallets, etc.) and cash on delivery. On the vendor side I need an automated payout module that tracks commission, GST, and settlement cycles so restaurants can monitor what they earn in real time.

Core flow in a nutshell
1. Customer browses nearby restaurants, switches between Delivery and Pickup, places an order, pays (or selects COD).
2. Order appears instantly on the restaurant dashboard; the kitchen confirms prep time.
3. When it is a delivery order, the nearest free rider is auto-assigned and alerted through the partner app.
4. Live tracking for both customer and restaurant.
5. Once delivered or collected, the system finalises the bill and credits the restaurant minus our commission; payouts hit their bank on the scheduled cycle shown in the dashboard.

Tech expectations
• Clean, scalable backend (Node/Express, Django, or similar) with REST/GraphQL APIs
• Real-time updates via WebSocket/Firebase
• Secure payment-gateway integration and PCI-DSS compliant storage
• Geo-location, route optimisation, and push notifications
• Source code, deployment scripts, and minimal AWS/Azure/GCP costs in mind

Acceptance criteria
– All four apps/dashboards compiled and running on test devices
– Delivery & Pickup toggles working end-to-end
– Online/COD flows settled correctly in sandbox and live modes
– Restaurant payout reports match commission rules I provide
– Admin console lets me add restaurants, riders, coupons, and view analytics without touching code
