I’m gearing up to develop a new coal deposit using surface-mining methods and need an experienced mining professional to turn the exploration data I already have into a practical, fully costed site-development plan.

The work centres on moving from resource confirmation to a shovel-ready operation. I’ll provide the drill-hole logs, preliminary geo-models, topographic surveys and any permitting constraints already identified. You will translate those inputs into:

• A phased pit design with bench heights, haul-road geometry and waste-dump allocation
• Stripping ratios and a month-by-month overburden removal schedule tied to equipment productivity
• ROM production forecasts, including coal quality corridors to keep specs on target
• Capex and opex estimates broken down by fleet, labour, consumables and rehabilitation commitments
• A high-level mine-closure outline to satisfy regulators that progressive rehabilitation is baked in

I expect all design work in Surpac, Vulcan, Datamine or a comparable industry package, with final drawings delivered as DXF/PDF and underlying spreadsheets unlocked for review. Please outline any similar projects you have completed, the software you prefer and the timeframe you need once my datasets are in hand.

Acceptance criteria: deliverables compile without errors in the stated software, schedules and costs reconcile across your spreadsheets, and all assumptions are clearly documented.

If you’re confident you can take this surface-mining venture from concept to ready-to-build, I look forward to your proposal.
